Highest average goes to Krzysztof Ratajski at Players Championship 5

Raymond van Barneveld has won the fifth Players Championship of the year. 'Barney' was 8-1 too strong for Stephen Bunting in the final. The highest average of the day, however, was not for Van Barneveld, but for Krzysztof Ratajski.

The Pole was a 6-1 winner over Nick Kenny in the last 64, posting an average of 115.35. Ratajski eventually reached the last 32 after a 6-4 defeat to Daryl Gurney.

In places two and three of the highest averages we encounter Gary Anderson. The Scot was too strong in the last 16 with a 6-1 win over Daryl Gurney, achieving an average of 113.97. Earlier in the last 64, he had averaged 105.63 in his 6-5 win against Niels Zonneveld.

Anderson eventually lost out in the semifinals after a 7-6 defeat to Van Barneveld.
