Luke Humphries stars in front of home crowd with 110 average; set to face Michael Smith in Leeds semifinals

Luke Humphries impressively made short work of Rob Cross during Night 15 of the Premier League Darts. 'Cool Hand Luke' conceded just one leg against the former world champion.

Only in the first leg did Cross get on the scoreboard. Humphries then took firm control by throwing out 66 and 87. A 15-darter and a 121 finish made it 4-1. Humphries then closed with a 13-darter and an 11-darter, bringing his average to 109.98.

In the last four, Michael Smith will be Luke Humphries' next opponent. 'Bullyboy' kept himself in the race for the playoffs by beating Nathan Aspinall 6-3. The difference in points in the rankings is still in Aspinall's favor by one point.
