Resilient Luke Humphries edges past Peter Wright as Luke Littler edges Rob Cross in deciding leg

The latest night of Premier League Darts action is underway in Birmingham with Luke Humphries and Luke Littler the first men through to the semifinals.

After two successive quarterfinal exits, it was by no means panic time for Humphries but a win was definitely needed to stop the rot. Against bottom of the table Peter Wright, the world champion was a heavy favourite too. In a much improved performance, it was 'Snakebite' who controlled the match though, moving 4-1 ahead before Humphries went seven into a perfect leg in leg 6 and sparked into life, reeling off the last five legs for a 6-4 win.

In the semifinals it will be a repeat of the World Darts Championship final after Luke Littler edged past Rob Cross in a last leg decider. Having trailed 3-1, Littler fought back but was pushed all the way by Cross, who nevertheless, has now gone five weeks without a win in the Premier League Darts.
