On Tuesday, the eighth Players Championship tournament of the season was played in Leicester. PDC Tour Card holders competed in this event, supplemented by reserve players through the Challenge Tour.
This tournament was finished off television cameras, but four boards could be watched via stream. The PDC has put together a summary of the matches that could be seen via the two major streams.
The recap includes the final between Danny Noppert and Luke Humphries. In this final, Noppert won a floor tournament for the fifth time in his career by holding off world champion Humphries 8-6.
