Andy Hamilton provided a small surprise at the World Seniors Champion of Champions on Saturday. 'The Hammer' defeated the reigning senior world champion, John Henderson, 10-8.
"It feels great! Obviously, John is a great player," the former PDC World Darts Championship finalist reflected post-match. "I've learned from the Circus Tavern. I'vexcome here in great form, I feel good and I probably played better than he did at the end."

"To win that game means more to me probably than a lot of things have happened in the last few years," Hamilton continues. "That puts me in good stead now for tomorrow."
During the match, there were a few mental games between Hamilton and Henderson. For example, at one point both men did not go for the bullseye while their opponent was also on a finish. "Sometimes to get in the other person's head you do that for a reason," Hamilton explains.
Can he now go on and win the title? "Don't dream until I'm there," he concludes with a smile.
