Ricky Evans will get the opportunity to compete at the Austrian Darts Open next weekend despite not initially qualifying. Due to a cancellation, 'Rapid Ricky' will make the trip to Graz for the fifth Euro Tour tournament of the season.
It is not yet known which player has cancelled. In case of a cancellation, the players who lost their match in the final round of the qualifying tournament for Tour Card holders will be considered.
The 10 losers of the final round will be ranked according to their Pro Tour rankings. Evans was the second player on the reserve list. That undoubtedly means at least two cancellations for the Austrian Darts Open. Richard Veenstra was the first reserve for the Euro Tour tournament in Austria. So there is a good chance that 'Flyers' may also travel to Graz.
