Fabulous Luke Littler ends wait for Premier League Darts success with Night 9 victory in Belfast

After consistently knocking on the door for the past eight weeks, Luke Littler has finally secured himself a weekly win in the 2024 Premier League Darts on Night 9 in Belfast.

After a last leg decider win over Luke Humphries in his quarter-final and an impressively comfortable dispatching of Michael van Gerwen in his semi-final, Littler faced off against Nathan Aspinall in the final. The World Matchplay champion having earlier seen off both Gerwyn Price and Peter Wright to reach the final.

In a tight opening portion of the match, it was actually Aspinall who kept his nose in front before a stunning 125 on the bull saw Littler level up at 3-3. From there, there seemed to be one winner as Littler won five of the last six legs to take a 6-4 triumph and his first weekly win.
