Michael Smith hands Luke Littler early exit in Rotterdam as Gerwyn Price also reaches semi-finals

Michael Smith and Gerwyn Price have both successfully qualified for the final four on Night 12 of the 2024 Premier League Darts campaign in Rotterdam. Later in the evening, the Englishman and the Welshman will face each other.

Smith won 6-3 over Luke Littler after a top-quality opening match. Both players threw averages above 100 in this match. Smith managed to take a 5-2 lead thanks to an 11-darter, 13-darter and a 14-darter. Littler closed to 5-3 before Smith finished the job, securing at least two important points.

Price settled with Rob Cross in his quarterfinal. A key moment in the match was the sixth leg, in which Cross failed to be out within six visits. Price then broke him with an 18-darter to take a 5-3 lead. 'The Iceman' then threw another 18-darter to put a 6-3 final score on the scoreboard.
