"We're going to try things I've never tried before" - Taylor hoping new fitness regime will bring him success on the World Seniors Darts Tour

The most successful dart player of all-time, Phil 'the Power' Taylor has had some uncharacteristic struggles since joining the World Seniors Darts Tour, with the 62-year-old still waiting to taste success.

Over the past weekend 'the Power' was in Yeovil for the World Seniors Darts Masters where he reached the quarter-finals before losing to Dennis Harbour. During the event, Taylor spoke candidly about his new health and fitness regime that includes eating a Keto diet. Now, courtesy of his official Twitter account, the former 16-time world champion has given a further update.

"I weighed myself last month I was 17st 1lb, now I'm 16st 6lb. Maybe I'll be a little lighter tomorrow hopefully," he begins. "Great weekend. I won a game! Not good enough obviously but things can only get better."

"I've got to get back on that practice board. I'm making a few changes. Me and Richard Smith, the nutritionist have had a really good chat," continues Taylor. "We're going to try things I've never tried before ever. So this is exciting news for me and hopefully it'll be exciting news for anyone that watches the darts and supports me."
