The darting drama continues at the Alexandra Palace on Wednesday afternoon with another bumper session of action set to take place at the 2021/22 PDC World Darts Championship.
Starting proceedings off will be Jose de Sousa who will aim to avert a shock against Alan Soutar who has already come through close ties against both Diogo Portela and Mensur Suljovic.
Many who have deep runs in tournaments survive on their way and could this be the case for Soutar who will hope to spring another shock by making the Last 16.
While a big chance has emerged in the tie of the afternoon session as Dave Chisnall faces Luke Humphries. A game which if both are on could be the best in the tournament so far.
The winner will face Chris Dobey after Michael van Gerwen tested positive for Covid-19 meaning that section has slightly opened up for Dobey or the victor of this tie to come through.
Finally, Nathan Aspinall will hope to put his injury concerns behind him when he takes on Callan Rydz.
The latter has been one of the star performers in this tournament so far and so 'The Riot' will be confident of sealing an upset win over 'The Asp'.
