The re completed draw for the 2019 World Masters has been released with play set to start shortly in Grays.
Multiple players turned up without registering from around the world and this meant that the draw had to be re-done. A video has been released as a result with players' reaction to the announcement that it needs to be re-done.
The likes of Wesley Harms, Richard Veenstra, Jim Williams, Martin Adams, Andy Hamilton and Jeff Smith; are among the well known names that are involved.
The tournament begins with the floor rounds; which comprises from the Last 256 and then the Last 32 will see the players competing at the former venue of the PDC World Championship, the Circus Tavern in Purfleet with overall victory up for grabs.
Adam Smith-Neale and Lisa Ashton claimed the titles last year in the men’s and women’s tournament; they will both be looking to defend their titles this time around.

- Maybe the supposed top players are burnt out from the endless travelling and tournaments, I just don't think they have the dedication or outright desire to win. I think they are more interested in the money and being popular, just keeping their rankings steady. The only thing that mattered to Phil Taylor was winning, not winning a few games to top up the money pot and seeking the fans attention. Maybe there is too many tournaments now and the enthusiasm is gone. This year especially has seen so many different winners and unexpected draws and line ups.richieburnettrocks14-11-2024
