Evans was taking on the very experienced Nick Fullwell who had already had a game on the big stage yesterday when he took on David Cameron and he settled in well to begin the contest claiming the opening set.
Evans though returned to the foray improving his game and settling in himself to make it 1-1. Fullwell was not done in the slightest though and fought back to claim the third set and go 2-1 up as Evans had to fight and up his game even further.
'Stretch' though hit a brilliant 107 checkout to send it all the way to a decider with Fullwell missing a match dart and it was sent it all the way.
From there, this proved the catalyst for Evans who claimed the match to conclude a thrilling debut.
Olde Kalter on the other hand was taking on Nick Kenny; who has been one of the most consistent players on the BDO Tour this year and is the WDF Number One.
Despite that though the Dutchman was 2-0 up in double quick time despite being five points behind in the averages; but Kenny himself let out a roar of emotion as he took out the third set in what was a potential catalyst for a comeback.
It was as he put it back on level terms which meant that Kenny suddenly had the chance to claim it. Despite that though the Dutchman found his top darts again at the right time claiming the decider 3-1 which saw him let out a roar.
