Waites / Thompson and Ashton / O'Brien claim BDO British Open pairs titles

Scott Waites and Garry Thompson and Lisa Ashton and Maria O'Brien claimed the pairs titles as the BDO British Open weekend began on Friday.
Waites and Thompson defeated Ryan Hogarth and Gary Stone in the final of the Men's pairs 5-2; in a high quality field.
Ashton and O'Brien in the ladies event defeated another high quality pairing in best friends; Lorraine Winstanley and Anastasia Dobromyslova 4-0 to show their form as of late.
There will be the main BDO British Open and British Classic played this weekend in Bridlington. Click here to view the draw for both tournaments.
