BDO Ladies Champion, Mikuru Suzuki and World Youth Champion, Leighton Bennett are being considered for the Grand Slam of Darts, it has been revealed.
If selected, they would form part of eight BDO representatives; this after it seems Glen Durrant will not get his spot as World Champion; due to switching over to the PDC.
This would be a huge step forward if it happens; with Lisa Ashton being denied a chance to play last year.
For Bennett, it will be an early chance for ‘Boom Boom’ who has been one of the standout players on the BDO circuit this year at only 13 years old; to show his potential.
More information will likely be revealed in due course; in terms of the line-up.
