Leighton Bennett has signed a new contract with darts manufacturer Target Darts to continue being part of their Elite 1 training programme.
Bennett is alongside the likes of Keane Barry, Bradley Brooks, Wessel Nijman and Lewy Williams also belong to the 'Elite 1' programme.
The prospect known as 'Boom Boom' made history at the start of this year by being the youngest player ever to participate in the BDO World Championship as a 14-year old. He also defeated Phil Taylor in an exhibition last year.
