It wasn't a classic night by any means. But Night Seven of the 2019 Premier League Darts in Berlin does leave the table looking interesting.
Rob Cross is back atop the league, having claimed an impressive win over Gerwyn Price in the German capital. Voltage is two points clear of Michael van Gerwen, a surprise loser to Daryl Gurney. With ten games left, Cross is in with a real chance of becoming the third person to top the Premier League Darts table at the end of the round-robin phase. Having briefly been top himself, James Wade sits third after a draw with Peter Wright. Then follows Mensur Suljovic who, thanks to two wins in a row, is in a tentative play-off spot. Peter Wright sits in fifth on account of leg difference, with Snakebite level on points with both Wade and Suljovic. Price drops to sixth thanks to a second defeat on the bounce. Then comes Daryl Gurney who, thanks to that massive win over van Gerwen, is all but assured of Premier League survival. The battle to avoid elimination on Judgement Night now appears to be a two-horse race. Michael Smith, beaten soundly by Suljovic in Berlin, sits in eighth. He has five points and a -5 leg difference. Raymond van Barneveld, who claimed his first win of the season against home favourite Max Hopp, has four points and a -10 leg difference. Barney plays Daryl Gurney and Michael van Gerwen next Wednesday and Thursday respectively in Rotterdam. Smith plays Gerwyn Price, followed by James Wade. Whoever sits in ninth on Judgement Night will see their Premier League Darts season end prematurely. for more information about the Premier League Darts, including all the fixtures and the prize fund breakdown.
