Michael van Gerwen and Peter Wright once again contested a European Tour final yesterday in Munich with 'Mighty Mike' once again claiming a Euro Tour to take his haul to 22 in his career.

He was facing Wright who has won the second highest amount on the European Tour. In a stat released by Ochepedia, they don't only just clean up the titles they are in most finals.
In the last 33 finals, either player or both have been involved 26 times which represents 79% of finals. This probably won't change anytime soon especially in the case of Van Gerwen unless they both sit out events.
It was especially the case last year with only Michael Smith receiving a Euro Tour title barring Van Gerwen or Wright, this was an event that most of the world's elite sat out.
