Anderson was really impressive in seeing off James Bailey hitting a 107 average in a 6-2 win. The Scotsman also hit 50% of his doubles and barring a 130 checkout out of nowhere from Bailey it probably would have been a whitewash.
Cross also won 6-2 against Puha who was impressive last week, but he couldn’t repeat that in Melbourne. A 92 average with 35% on his doubles won the tie for ‘Voltage’. He will move through to face Michael Smith on Saturday in the quarter-finals.
