Gary Anderson claimed his first victory of the weekend by defeating DJ Sayre at the US Darts Masters. He averaged 112 as he sent out a message in a 6-1 win.

For Anderson though he is not counting his chickens but said that he is over the moon that the darts are going in correctly.
He will face US Darts Masters giant killer Dawson Murschell tonight and he has said he is a good kid and played well in last nights session.
“It was good, I’ve had four weeks off; I played an exhibition with (Wayne) Mardle and the boys but not thrown a dart since”, said Anderson.
”It’s hard to explain the body does not feel like I should be standing right. They are going in so I’m over the moon with that”.
On his next opponent Dawson Murschell he said the following: ”Dawson played well; he’s a good kid he’s come across and is looked after”.
Finally on potentially claiming another World Series crown: ”Hopefully, I never count my chickens we will see how it goes”.
