Aspinall smashes Dolan to become first player to move through to PDC World Darts Championship semi-finals

Nathan Aspinall is the first player through to the semi-finals at the PDC World Darts Championship after smashing Brendan Dolan in a 5-1 win.

Aspinall has continued his dream run and will now have the belief that he can go all the way.
He has played better and better each round and in this one he averaged 99, hit five 180’s with 40% on his doubles.
As well as that he hit a high checkout of 132 and could have easily have won in straight sets against Dolan.
Despite Dolan getting a late set it was nothing more and ‘The Asp’ claimed the next set 3-1 to move through.
