Burness on winning Tom Kirby Memorial Irish Matchplay: “It means everything to me to win this trophy”

Kevin Burness before the World Grand Prix final claimed the Tom Kirby Memorial Irish Matchplay defeating Mick McGowan.

Burness who claimed his tour card at the start of the year and will make his World Championship debut as a result admitted it means everything to win the trophy.
Also he spoke about the World Championship qualification and how it was his dream at the start of the year and now he’s fulfilled it.
"It means everything to me to win this trophy," said Burness.
"I lost in the semi-finals [in 2012] and I really wanted to bounce back and win it this year. I was nervous at the start but I settled down and enjoyed the experience after that.
"When I won my Tour Card at the start of the year my dream was to appear at Alexandra Palace and now I will fulfil that dream."
