Cross after being dumped out of PDC World Darts Championship by Humphries: ‘I felt a bit fatigued up there’

Rob Cross was dumped out of the PDC World Darts Championship on Friday night in the Last 16. He lost to Luke Humphries as his World title defence ended.
Cross spoke to the Mirror afterwards saying he was a bit fatigued but wasn’t using that as an excuse. He also said that his scoring wasn’t the best all night but gave praise to his opponent who took advantage of this. “I felt a bit fatigued up there, but that's no excuse,’ said Cross. “From 2-0 up I should have gone on to win it, but my scoring wasn't good enough all night and fair play to Luke: He played great. for more information about the PDC World Darts Championship, including schedules and the prize fund breakdown.

- Pathetic. The media attention she would receive at the PDC alone would more than compensate her for the quiet WDF comp. And if she wins a match, which she is more than capable of doing, the attention would go through the roof.
