Cross bows out against Dekker, Beaton and Smith win with 106 average

Dekker broke Cross' throw in the opening leg and cruised into a 5-2 lead, before the Dutchman hit a 12-dart leg to confirm his place in the second round. Dave Chisnall was edged out by Jamie Bain, while Stephen Bunting suffered a defeat against Vincent Kamphuis.
Steve Beaton and Michael Smith both impressed with both averaging over 106. Smith defeated Jimmy Hendriks 6-0, while Beaton only dropped two legs against Darren Johnson.
The final ProTour event of the year sees 128 players competing for places in the Players Championship Finals and World Darts Championship.
