Chris Dobey has continued his brilliant form winning with ease against Steve Beaton, a really tricky opponent for the Bedlington ace on paper.

It is back to back straight set wins and he hasn’t dropped a set yet as he prepares for round three where he will take on another impressive player so far in Vincent Van der Voort.
The first set went to a deciding leg with Dobey producing a superb 88 checkout on the bull as a marker of what was to come.
He won the next set in complete control hitting an 80 finish to break being the turning point in the opening leg.
An 11 darter followed in the final set with Dobey streaking to a brilliant victory against the former Lakeside champion.
