Alongside the detailed statistics collated for the Dutch Darts Masters 2017 this past weekend which is the 9th stop on the European Tour from the MECC in Maastricht, Netherlands, the highest averages have been put in order.
Kyle Anderson has the highest average of the weekend in his closely contested first round win against Justin Pipe, Michael van Gerwen follows suit of course with his Last 16 win 6-1 over the same man with the highest average.
Rob Cross was 3rd in another 6-1 win over Jamie Lewis with 105 average, Krzysztof Ratajski was 4th in his last 16 easy procession of Christian Kist and finally in the top 5 was John Henderson in less of an easy win against Ian White 6-3. The other top averages are all below for you perusal:

- Maybe the supposed top players are burnt out from the endless travelling and tournaments, I just don't think they have the dedication or outright desire to win. I think they are more interested in the money and being popular, just keeping their rankings steady. The only thing that mattered to Phil Taylor was winning, not winning a few games to top up the money pot and seeking the fans attention. Maybe there is too many tournaments now and the enthusiasm is gone. This year especially has seen so many different winners and unexpected draws and line ups.richieburnettrocks14-11-2024
