Entries released for opening Players Championship weekend: Lewis, Webster and Hughes set to skip first events in Wigan

Adrian Lewis, Darren Webster and new Tour Card holder Jamie Hughes will all miss out.
As will Corey Cadby of course who is still yet to resolve visa issues which means we have not seen him for a long time on the Pro Tour.
As a result, the field will be made up with the best of the Challenge Tour. This includes Boris Koltsov, Nathan Rafferty and Ritchie Edhouse.
There will be Pro Tour debuts though for Glen Durrant, Scott Baker and Mark McGeeney; as well as the big names in action such as Michael van Gerwen, Peter Wright and Rob Cross.
Raymond van Barneveld has finally seemed to stick to his plan to play more Pro Tour events in his final year as he has entered.
