European Q-School 2018 - Day Two: Robbe wins as Dutch aces bow out

Mario Robbe made it through to the European Q-School quarter finals on day two in Hildesheim.

The Dutchman edged out Gabriel Rollo 5-4. But much-fancied Dutch stars Dirk van Duijvenbode and Ryan de Vreede both crashed out. They lost to German pair Mike Holz and Robert Marijanovic. Tytus Kanik continued his fine run with a 5-2 defeat of Geert Nentjes. The Pole earlier defeated compatriot Kryztsztof Ratajski.
The European Q-School will play down to a winner on each day, to give four automatic Tour Cards. The remaining players earning ranking points. Ranking points are awarded with one point per win from rounds where there are no Byes onwards.
