Euro Tour had its tenth instalment of this year hitting Mannheim for the German Darts Grand Prix 2017 which was won by no other than
Michael Van Gerwen who completed a double after also picking up his home tournament in Maastricht last week. He defeated
Rob Cross this past weekend in the final and it is both players who lead the highest averages of the weekend.
MVG hit the top 2 averages reaching 111 on two occasions including the final further lending itself to the theory that the World Number 1 saves his best for when it matters. Rob Cross then had 4 out of the remaining 8 top averages with only Robert Owen who lost in his first round to Krzysztof Ratajski, Joe Cullen and Kyle Anderson part of that list which furthers underlines the dominance of MVG and the form of Rob Cross.
