Glen Durrant sails through to Quarter-Finals with victory over Darryl Fitton at Lakeside

Durrant raced to a 2-0 lead in sets winning the first set 3-0 and then 3-1 in the following set where the Dazzler had the throw and Fitton wasn't playing badly it was just Duzza putting in a classy display in the first two sets.
Fitton though was making a really good fist of it and took the next set in a deciding leg to go 2-1 behind and then was on the verge of winning the next set only for Duzza to hit a 180 at just the right time to then pin D12 to make it 3-1 to the BDO World Champion.
Durrant then pinned D20 when they were at 1-1 leaving Fitton in a precarious position in terms of the match with Duzza only one away from reaching the next round where a potential clash with Jim Williams awaits who slayed him at the Finder Masters in a run to the final for 'The Quiff'.
Fitton pinned 68 though to keep him in the match when Durrant was sitting on 61. Duzza kicked off 180 in the leg where he had the throw to win. Darryl hit 58 when Durrant was on 129 leaving the Dazzler on 220 and Durrant hit 36 on D9 to win the match and continue his defence of the World title at the Lakeside.
