Daryl Gurney was made to rue missed chances as he drew with Gary Anderson last night. ‘Superchin’ is yet to claim a win in the league and came closer than ever to doing so.
He ended up missing two match darts as his wait for a Premier League win goes on. Gurney spoke afterwards and admitted it was frustrating. Also he states he’s playing well but not taking his chances.
“It’s very frustrating, I thought the double 12 was in and I thought the double six was in but you have to give credit to Gary for sticking in there,” said the World Grand Prix champion.
“I am playing well, not my best, but still getting opportunities. I’m missing the chances but that’s the way it goes sometimes.”
