Hopp books convincing win over Noppert

Max Hopp comfortably defeated Danny Noppert as the German prevailed 3-0 in one of the most eagerly awaited second round matches of the tournament.

Hopp took full advantage of the massive double trouble that Noppert suffered from. The Dutchman only managed to hit 1 out of his first 15 attempts at doubles as 'The Maximiser' took a 2-0 lead.
More missed doubles proved costly for 'Noppie' as he failed to hit doubles to complete 108 and 160-checkouts, only to see his German opponent finish 76 and 92 with his last dart. The pattern continued in the deciding leg of the third set, with Noppert missing two darts for the set before Hopp took out double 18 to complete the victory.
