Phil Taylor is through to the Semi-Finals of his final World Championship and is one step closer to a 17th crown to end his career at the top and has Jamie Lewis and then potentially Michael van Gerwen standing in his way of that title who will both want to shut the power out for good.
He showed no signs of letting up though in his win over Gary Anderson winning 5-3 against the World Number 3 but admitted it was a struggle towards the end but he is going to miss it when he does leave the sport in a few days time.
"It was a struggle my energy levels went towards the end, but I knew I just had to keep putting him under pressure," said Taylor, who now faces Jamie Lewis for a place in the final.
"It's the greatest feeling in the world and I'm going to miss it after next week but I've been around for 30 years now.
"I'm absolutely fine and I'm loving it."
