Adrian Lewis and Daryl Gurney will face off in what on paper is a mouthwatering clash in the first semi-final at the German Darts Championship.

Lewis saw off Peter Wright with ease claiming a 6-2 win over ‘Snakebite’ with a 99 average. ‘Jackpot’ races to a 4-1 lead meaning too much of a mountain to climb for the Scottish ace and despite it not being his best performance of the weekend, Lewis continues to impress. As does Gurney who saw off Stephen Bunting in a much closer affair. It went all the way to the final leg with Bunting potentially being favourite at that point but ‘The Bullet’ under pressure to hold throw to move through faltered. He began to hit stray darts into the 5’s and 1’s which allowed Gurney two lots of match darts before he finally pinned the double for the win.
