Scott Mitchell and McGeeney will face each other in the final of the BDO Turkish Classic on Sunday. Both players defeated a Dutch opponent in the semi-finals.
McGeeney edged out Derk Telnekes to confirm his spot in the final. Former Lakeside champion Mitchell beat Wesley Harms to setup an all-English final. Lisa Ashton and Aileen de Graaf of the ladies event. The Turkish Open starts on Saturday afternoon, with all finals being played on Sunday.

- Am beginning to wonder if there is to much darts now and players are burning out earlier and with the high rewards now at the top level once a few million has been earned the desire to play wanes. There is no close season as such and there is the exhibition circuit so it is a 12 month circus.Mysstree29-11-2024
