Wessel Nijman has won the second Development Tour event of the season. The Dutchman only attended his second Development Tour weekend, after making his debut in November last year.

Nijman defeated Tour Card-holder Bradley Brooks in the final, after hitting a 13-dart leg in the legdecider. The 17-year-old also booked victories over Callan Rydz and Mike de Decker.
The current World Youth Champion and the winner of the Development Tour-ranking in 2017 are both not playing today. Dimitri van den Bergh and Luke Humphries are currently playing today in Saarbrücken at the German Darts Open.
