Peter Wright is on the verge of winning his first World Series title after dispatching
Raymond van Barneveld in a thriller in Dusseldorf.
Wright has had chances in the past and will have to get through a refreshed James Wade or Phil Taylor, someone who has vanquished him twice in the final of a World Series before and that is bound to play on 'Snakebite's mind as he looks for an 11th title of the year ahead of a load of majors coming up.
'Snakebite' averaged 94 which was the same as Raymond van Barneveld which shows how neck and neck they were but a final burst from the UK Open Champion did the job.
