Pipe, Jirkal and Dennant first through to second round at European Darts Open

Justin Pipe, Pavel Jirkal and Matthew Dennant are the first three players through to Round Two at the European Darts Open.

Pipe came through in a 6-3 win against Ryan Meikle with a 94 average in an impressive performance from the Taunton ace. Jirkal also impressed with a 6-1 victory over William Borland with a high checkout of 156 along the way. The Czech debutant produced a 81.91 average with 29% on doubles along the way.
Finally Matthew Dennant played decent in seeing off Madars Razma. He came from 4-2 down to win 6-5. He hit two 180’s, 88.11 average with 50% on the doubles on his way to the win on his return to the European Tour.
