Players Championship 15 Results, Last 64: Van Gerwen averages 107 in win over Huybrechts, Wade, Chisnall and Wright out

The second round at Players Championship 15 is complete with Michael van Gerwen improving his performance from a poor first round display by his standards to average 107.
He did so in a victory over Kim Huybrechts in which he claimed a 6-3 win meaning he didn't have it all his own way but he still remains the man to beat today.
For James Wade, Dave Chisnall and Peter Wright though it is the end of the road with 'The Machine' falling 6-2 to Kyle Anderson only averaging in the mid 80's
Chisnall ended up hitting a nine-dart finish against Cristo Reyes but this wasn't enough with the St Helens ace falling by the wayside in a 6-5 defeat. Wright was edged out by Ryan Meikle in a 6-4 defeat meaning he couldn't back up his exploits from last weekend on the European Tour.
An under the radar performance came from Peter 'The Rock' Hudson who smashed in a 101 average in whitewashing UK Open champion Nathan Aspinall.
