The statistics have been compiled after Night 2 of the Premier League in Glasgow with Rob Cross topping the averages.
Cross played brilliantly on Thursday and this showed with a 103.08 average. this also included six 180’s and 46% on the doubles.
This was just ahead of Michael van Gerwen who averaged similar with a 102 average and 48% on his doubles.
Mensur Suljovic continued his bad luck though with him sitting last despite the third highest average and the second highest 180’s.
What let him down in this case was doubles with only 34% going in against Van Gerwen.
Finally it was Gerwyn Price and Daryl Gurney who topped the ton plus checkouts with two each.
Gurney had the best out of the two with his 121; but Michael Smith had the best overall with 150.

- Maybe the supposed top players are burnt out from the endless travelling and tournaments, I just don't think they have the dedication or outright desire to win. I think they are more interested in the money and being popular, just keeping their rankings steady. The only thing that mattered to Phil Taylor was winning, not winning a few games to top up the money pot and seeking the fans attention. Maybe there is too many tournaments now and the enthusiasm is gone. This year especially has seen so many different winners and unexpected draws and line ups.richieburnettrocks14-11-2024
