Gerwyn Price revealed last week about how he hated playing in the Premier League. 'The Iceman' has now released a statement apologising for the tweet admitting he didn't speak with a clear mind when he made his initial comment.

He said that 'hate is a big word' and that in reality it was a 'great honour' to be a part of the top 10 in the world and be selected for the competition. Price though didn't retract his feelings completely but instead admitted that it was more of a 'culture shock'.
As well as that he admitted that the 'travelling and time away' from his family took it out of him as opposed to him hating playing in the weekly roadshow.
The Welshman will make his final appearance in the competition this week after he was relegated with his loss last week. He signed off the statement by saying he wanted to end his campaign with 'a farewell win'.
After this week, he will want to potentially spend some time regaining some of the form that brought him a debut season in the Premier League and spend more time with his family.
