The field is provisionally set for the first European Tour event of the season, the European Darts Open which is set to take place from March 22 to March 24.
Michael van Gerwen is currently number one seed and is joined by a new number two for this year in Ian White. 'The Diamond' is known as one of the top performers on the tour and as such is at his highest position for at least the first few events.
In terms of the UK Qualifiers, we will see the debut of Glen Durrant who qualified recently after a string of ton plus averages. The likes of Justin Pipe, Steve Beaton and the in form Ted Evetts will also be involved.
The European qualifiers are potentially at their strongest for the first event with the likes of Krzysztof Ratajski, Jeffrey de Zwaan and Raymond van Barneveld all in action.
Madars Razma has been imperious so far on the Nordic and Baltic circuit and qualifier as did Pavel Jirkal from Czech.
Further Host Nation and Eastern European qualifiers will be held the day before the event.
