The cut off for the Lakeside World Championship is coming up in a few months time and the provisional field right now is starting to take shape ahead of the event.

This is after another round of BDO ranking events so it can and will potentially change in certain sections of qualification before the event. At the moment Mark McGeeney and Glen Durrant are neck and neck for the number one position at Lakeside.
Jim Williams is third with Scott Mitchell and Gary Robson making up the top five. There is a likely Lakeside return potentially for Tony O’Shea further down the rankings.
The last player currently in a qualification position is Darius Labanauskas but with him likely to take part in the PDC World Championships, it could be assumed that Jeffrey Sparidaans is in the final position.
Lorraine Winstanley is currently first seed in the Ladies ahead of Deta Hedman and Aileen De Graaf. The last qualified player currently in the draw is Anca Ziljstra who is currently tied with Tricia Wright.
