This weekend is extremely important for a lot of players with the final double header of Players Championship action on the agenda.

This could decide tour cards; as well as World Championship spots. Multiple players need good runs this weekend with their positions under threat.
One of the main ones is Dimitri van den Bergh with the Belgian who reached the Quarter-Finals last year sitting on the edge of falling out of qualification. However, Van den Bergh can also qualify through the Development Tour later this year.
The same can be said for Ross Smith and Justin Pipe with ‘The Force’ in particular in big trouble. Players such as Madars Razma and Andrew Gilding who have shown brilliant floor form recently could sneak in last minute.
It will be one interesting weekend to decide these all important spots and it will give the players just outside even more of an initiative.
