Ratajski after winning second PDC title of the year: ‘I don’t believe it, really!’

Krzysztof Ratajski was relentless on Saturday as he claimed a second PDC title of 2018. He won Players Championship 21 in Barnsley defeating Chris Dobey 6-2 in the final.
Ratajski spoke afterwards about his lack of tour card and how he hopes that winning the title has secured him one. Also he said how the Challenge Tour has helped him massively in 2018.
"I don't believe it, really!" said the 41-year-old. "It's something impossible for me, because I think it gives me a Tour Card for next year. I'm not sure, I hope so.
"There is a really good level of players [on the Challenge Tour] and I'm sure it's helped me."

- Am beginning to wonder if there is to much darts now and players are burning out earlier and with the high rewards now at the top level once a few million has been earned the desire to play wanes. There is no close season as such and there is the exhibition circuit so it is a 12 month circus.Mysstree29-11-2024
