The final two matches of the afternoon session on Day Two at the European Darts Open have been completed.

Krzysztof Ratajski edged past Michael Smith in an absolute thriller which saw the Bully Boy mount a massive comeback to be denied at the final hurdle. Ratajski was 4-0 up and was seemingly cruising to a huge victory but he had to survive match darts in the end. It was an excellent performance for the Polish Eagle despite the late drama with him averaging 105 with five 180’s. Gurney has his doubling to thank in seeing off Jeffrey de Zwaan in a 6-2 victory. He will face either Adrian Lewis or Dimitri van den Bergh next up in what will be a hotly anticipated clash no matter who he plays. Afternoon session schedule Darren Webster (87.43) 6-3 (81.08) Pavel Jirkal James Wade (97.87) 6-3 (92.49) Wesley Plaisier Ian White (87.83) 5-6 (89.44) Justin Pipe Gerwyn Price (97.39) 6-3 (86.63) Scott Taylor Dave Chisnall (100.28) 6-2 (90.74) Ted Evetts Jonny Clayton (85.01) 6-3 (86.54) Adam Hunt Michael Smith (98.77) 5-6 (105.57) Krzysztof Ratajski Daryl Gurney (90.98) 6-2 (90.21) Jeffrey de Zwaan
