Results Players Championship 14, Last 32: Wright, Cross through to last 16

The fourteenth Players Championship is coming towards its conclusion and Peter Wright & Rob Cross alongside the likes of Danny Noppert & Simon Whitlock are all still involved as the race for the £10,000 cheque hots up.
Wright got revenge on Josh Payne who defeated him on the Sunday of the last Players Championship weekend in the final. 'Snakebite' defeated him 6-1.
Cross defeated a player he has come across many times in the past few months, Martin Schindler. It was a 6-3 triumph for Voltage.
Also still in are Michael Smith & Dave Chisnall who have avenged yesterday’s second round exits. There is also another good run for Dirk van Duijvenbode as well as Jermaine Wattimena who will face Chisnall & Noppert respectively.

- It happens. Remember, anyone who has watched German and Dutch players in matches - their respective countries will have seen/heard just as bad jeering (if not worse). - Was watching an old World Masters final the other day between Eric Bristow and John Lowe, the crowd respect for both players on throw was first class, not a sound. You can imagine now the idiots who were whistling on De Deckers throw proudly boasting about it on social media. I blame the PDC to a certain extent though doubt they really care as they win regardless of which player wins or loses.Mysstree16-11-2024

I even turned to my husband and said "Could you imagine this happening if Russ Bray was the referee tonight? At least there would have been a crowd admonishment- Ladies and Gentleman please."
