Rob Cross claims 2nd Premier League win over under par Raymond van Barneveld

Rob Cross has claimed back to back wins in the Premier League. He defeated Raymond van Barneveld 7-3 in a commanding victory.
Cross defeated a lacklustre Raymond van Barneveld in another game that didn’t go close. Barney even changed darts half way through but it didn’t work.
Cross averaged 96.4 and hit 70% of his doubles and four 180’s as he punished seven missed darts from Barney who averaged just 88.
’Voltage’ showed his return to form by capping it off with a brilliant 128 checkout to show why he is World Champion.

- I dont like individuals or crowds trying to put any player off when they are trying to check out, how anyone can think its okay for the crowd to whistle or shout as someone is throwing for a double is beyond me but it does seem to have become part and parcel of the modern game. I no longer play now, darts is as good as dead at a local level round my way but when i did play many years ago, no matter how intense the rivalry you never shouted out or whistled when an opponent from the other team was throwing for a double.Mysstree17-11-2024
