The International Darts Open, the 11th of 12 Euro Tour events in the season starts today with the 1st round being played out with 2 sessions in the afternoon and evening to decide who will play the seeds in the second round on Saturday afternoon and evening. Some of the ties of the round include Dragutin Horvat who has played well in previous appearances on the Euro Tour and previously at the World Championship who will have the home support against up and coming star Chris Quantock, Darren Webster will play the returning Luke Woodhouse and in the evening Max Hopp will face the returning Mark Webster, recent Euro Tour finalist Steve Beaton will face Nordic and Baltic Qualifier Dennis Nilsson and finally in what will potentially be the tie of the round, Jerry Hendriks will face recent Auckland Darts Master Kyle Anderson.
