Michael Smith has been the major story of the Premier League this season, the 'Bully Boy' had a horrific debut season but has stormed into real contention this year for the title at the end of the season.

The St Helens ace being included in the line up was originally criticised but he has put that to bed showing great form away from the weekly roadshow as well. For Smith he is fully focused on reaching finals night and admits he is not at the peak of his powers showing there is a second side to his game as well. "Elimination is done and I've got six weeks to focus on the top four now. "I've not been playing well in the Premier League and still winning and it's showing that there's a second side to my game as well. "I've not struggled against anyone so far apart from Michael [Van Gerwen], there's no one I can't play or can't beat. "I was second bottom on the averages but second in the league and I wanted to prove what I can do and what I know and everyone knows I can do." for the Premier League Darts prize fund breakdown.
