Michael Smith has withdrawn from the German Darts Championship this weekend. Dutch commentator Jacques Nieuwlaat revealed that 'Bullyboy' is not going to Hildesheim for the second European Tour event.
As a result of Smith's withdrawal, James Wilson moved into the seeds and receives a bye for the first round. His first round place will go to an additional German qualifier. The draw for the German Darts Championship will be confirmed on Thursday, with the will be played on Thursday evening.
